Tonight's entry won't be as lengthy as the others, unless my pontificating skills get the better of me. I write this from The Corner House, a tiny little bed and breakfast in Nicholasville, about 6 miles outside of Lexington, Kentucky. The Corner House does not disappoint; quaint, cool and comfortable and half of the price of the bed and breakfasts in downtown Lexington. Though I tragically will never pass through here again, it already comes highly recommended!! Can't wait to sleep!
Had a solid sleep last night... enough that I woke before my alarm clock. For those reading that know me pretty well, that is considered some mild form of sorcery. A twister launching an entire 80-piece orchestra through my window doesn't even have the same effect.
Just picked a scab on my arm....ouch!
We got off to a late start today, what with tracking down the Pet Cemetary and discovering Petey the Dog's (mascot of the Little Rascals) grave/shrine. Now it makes me wonder where Alfalfa's and Spanky's graves are. If we pass by them, you, our faithful readers, will find out first!

Oh, and not to advertise products or services on this blog, but my first taste of 5 Hour Energy was an extremely positive one. Kept me alert, active and awake with no feeling of increased heart rate or that niacin rash thing. It helped me get through about five and a half hours of driving and it wore off at the advertised time. Lara mentioned something about half-lives, but the formula for me was spot-on. I have heard it doesn't always have the same effect on everyone, but it worked wonders for me! Bought 2 for $6.36, still saving the grape one for another day! No grapist jokes!
Need to turn in! The next two days are a bit lighter; 5-6 hrs each days, compared to one 10-hr day which could easily evolve into a 13hr one based on traffic outside of our control! We'll also be finding those rare gem attractions in and around Lexington and Louisville! Stay tuned! Same Andy Lou and Lara Lee time, same Andy Lou and Lara Lee channel.
